Under this project, UAC is actively involved in the development of rural communities through the provision of pipe borne water, distribution of in kind donations from partners. Examples of these projects include:
  • Provision of pipe borne water to Nchemba 1 village with support from LiveBuild organization of Netherlands
  • Rehabilitation of water system in Tinto with support from LiveBuild organization,
  • Provision of microcredit to the cocoa farmers of Nchemba 1 village with support from our Swiss based partner
  • Donation of bicycles to village traditional councils, books to schools, wheel chairs to village health centers, toys to village nursery schools and basic tools to technical colleges with support from Christian African Relief Trust of England.
  • With support from Crossroads International organization of Hong Kong, UAC has been able to move into rural communities to distribute clothes, shoes and other basic items.

With the always demanding nature of rural communities where many children still go to school without shoes, books, pens, dirty or turned clothes and other basic needs, UAC is still very ready to partner with any interested organizations or individuals to improve on the welfare of the rural communities of the South West Region.
