Volunteer

United Action for Children (UAC) invites passionate local and international volunteers, researchers, and interns to join our grassroots initiatives in the South West Region of Cameroon. By volunteering with UAC, you work directly alongside community leaders, educators, and field teams to drive sustainable development across digital innovation, vocational education, child protection, and rural family empowerment.

Volunteering Tracks

• AI & Digital Skills Mentorship (Action Tech / AI Community Hub): Train young women and youth in mobile AI graphic design, digital branding, prompt engineering, and basic computer skills at the Buea AI Training Lab.

• Vocational Instruction & Workshop Support (Johnson’s Vocational Training Center): Share technical expertise in Catering & Culinary Arts, Automobile Engineering, or IT solutions to support tuition-free training for internally displaced youth.

• Community Outreach & Family Advocacy (Community Mothers Club): Deploy with UAC field teams into rural villages to facilitate workshops on child rights, parenting roles, and girl-child education outreach.

• Peacebuilding & Community Protection (Staying Safe Together Project): Assist in organizing town halls, peacebuilding seminars, and community resilience workshops in collaboration with traditional councils and youth groups.
